Every person is musical. I really believe that. Have you watched and listened to me or another music teacher play ukelele or recorder and felt a desire to learn a little bit yourself?  And certainly, our children and families need to see their grown-ups making music, learning music and loving music. This is the single most important factor in their positive orientation towards becoming musicians themselves.

This pop-up is a little taste of the experience of learning or deepening your skills with an instrument. Bring your uke and/or recorder and learn how to play a simple song. I’d love to teach you the intro to the Hello song and Goodbye song, for example! For those who were in the first class, I’ll choose musical interludes or accompaniments to a couple songs from the Sticks collection.  Bring your child, if you need, and we’ll arrange things so they are entertained and safe while we learn.
