Songiving Musicians Fund

Songiver Studio strives to invite and support many young developing musicians. My aim is for the student group to reflect the community in which I live—Vermonters who have different economic resources as well as robust cultural assets. In order to make private or small-group music lessons accessible to some of these talented students, I have been providing scholarships for the last few years to their families. This choice has deepened the musical experience for all of my students, allowed me to work with amazing kids and families, and boosted my teaching skills as well as the artistry of our studio. 

I think it’s time to start a fund to support this ongoing opportunity at Songiver. I’m going to call it Songiving Musicians Fund. If you or other family or friends have the means to put something towards this fund at any time, you can be sure it will flow toward musical joy and learning for a fellow Vermont family.
